System Performance Tweaks - Auto Delete Temporary Folder

To auto delete the temporary folder, follow the next steps:

  1. Start -> Run and type gpedit.msc and click OK.
     
  2. Select -> Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Terminal Services/Temporary Folder
     
  3. Then right click "Do Not Delete Temp Folder Upon Exit" Go to properties and select disable (see picture 1).

  4. Now next time Windows puts a temp file in that folder it will automatically delete it when its done!

Note: remember, gpedit (Group Policy Editor) is only available in Microsoft XP Professional.
